Lightwind and "Heavy" Rider Alternative;
The 2010 Ozone Zephyr is the ideal option for riding in less than optimal wind conditions so you can progress by getting more water time. The Zephyr also performs like other inflatables so you don't have to adjust your timing for tricks and transitions. Like all Ozone's the Zephyr is built in the Ozone factory with the highest quality materials so it is strong and extremely lightweight. The Zephyr was built specifically for lightwind performance, not scaled from an existing design with trade-offs. Up until now, most "big" kites are just bigger copies of existing designs. The Zephyr also has an incredible wind range with reports of 17-20mph top end cruising with more upper range available.
The 2010 Zephyr has the proven safety system that was used on the 2009 Instinct line and is second to none in our opinion. The front line safety system is simple with no additional lines or straps to complicate your setup. This system allows you to spin, unhook and perform other transitions without having the leash wrap the depower line. The Zephyr also has the Ozone simple relaunch design that allows you to roll the kite up on the wingtip by just pulling on one side of the bar, no swimming necessary!
