LEARN FROM THE EXPERTS!
At Atlantic Kiteboarding School, you have the choice of personalized instruction, group or private lessons and all of the latest equipment is supplied. This is a great gift idea! You would not go skydiving without taking a lesson. The same guidelines hold true for learning how to kiteboard.
We use current "state of the art" equipment for all of our lessons. For 2010 we use all Ozone Kites (Flow's, Frenzy FX's, Instinct Light's and Sports) exclusively for land and water lessons. We do NOT use small "trainer" kites for our professional lessons, only full size 4 line "power kites" so you get experienced with what you will actually use to kitesurf. This equipment assures you of the best possible lesson(s) due to the stabillity and ease of water re-launch. This means you have more time to learn to ride instead of struggling with ill handling equipment.
"Introduction to Kiteboarding"
Not sure if Kiteboarding is for you?? Try our "Introduction to Kiteboarding" lesson that will give you a "hands on" of flying a power kite on land with one of our experienced instructors.

If you want to start learning the basics of flying a smaller power kite at your own speed, try one of our starter packages. Once you master control of the trainer, you will be ready to begin professional training with a full sized power kite with one of our instructors;

"Level 1"
This class covers safety, kite theory, wind window, launching, landing, and harness use flying a "full sized" 4 line Power Kite on land.
Time: 2 -2.5 hours

Level 2
This WATER segment includes setup, self launch/landing an inflatable kite, body dragging techniques to get back to your board, water relaunch and self rescue.
Time: 2 -2.5 hours

Level 3
This WATER course covers water starting, how to get up on your board, riding, and executing basic turns. After this segment, you should feel comfortable in setting up and tuning your own equipment. It will give you the "know how" to go home and feel confident riding at your local spot.

Private Instruction
You call the shots and learn what you have always wanted in this customized lesson.
