Repairing the Flexifoil front line swivel
This tutorial will show you how to repair or upgrade your Flexifoil front line swivel by replacing the ball bearings and replacing the factory C-clip with a 2 piece stainless steel split collar.

Remove the factory C-clip if it is still in place. |

To replace the ball bearings, push the center rod through the bearing holder cup with the "mouse ears" all the way until it hits the welded ring. At this point install the 15 5/64" SS ball bearings and add some Marine grease. |

Pull the shaft back into the final position and disassemble the split collar; |
 |

Install the split collar and tighten the allen head screws; |
 |
Make sure you leave a small clearance so the swivel will rotate without bind. |
